In this special webinar, join Nicole Loehr as she explains her school liaison program STARTTS (Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors), along with top tips for teachers with students who have suffered trauma from refugee and refugee-like backgrounds.
Nicole will provide culturally-relevant, best practice advice for everything from classroom setup to external support, as well as the roles English, literacy and the arts can play in helping the healing process. Nicole is based in NSW, but will share information and where teachers can turn for assistance and information Australia-wide.
