Accreditation: For NSW teachers: Completing PETAA's Leading with Literacy Conference: From babble to Batavia and beyond will contribute 12 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Accredited PD in the priority area of Delivery and Assessment of NSW Curriculum/EYLF addressing standard descriptors 2.1.2, 1.2.2, 1.5.2, 2.5.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW. Teachers must attend in person or live stream the event to receive accreditation. Viewing recordings after the event is not NESA accredited PD, however can count as Elective PD.
For ACT teachers: Completing PETAA's Leading with Literacy Conference: From babble to Batavia and beyond will contribute 10 hours of TQI Accredited PD addressing standard descriptors 2.1.2, 1.2.2, 1.5.2, 2.5.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
